Rare, Rarer & Rarest is a compilation album by the band Blood. New York City – previously unreleased; Tracks 22 – 25 previously unreleased; Tracks 10 – 25.
Interesting recording by session ace guitarist Barry Finnerty released on vinyl in Japan in 1982. Production is dated (and sounds way too slick), some of the tunes sound like they were trying too hard to get played on the radio, but musicianship is solid, with the top NY session players of the time participating. 'Stonescape' comes closest to that, but still sounds a bit too slick to my ears. A decent recording, but not worth shelling out big bucks for a used LP.
